Police are searching for a man who allegedly abducted a four-day-old baby girl Tuesday morning from his home on Lewis Avenue in Bed-Stuy.
According to reports, the baby's mother called police at around 8:30am Tuesday to report that the suspect, her boyfriend, had run out of the house with their young daughter, who was only four days old.
The woman said she and the suspect had been arguing since the birth of her child regarding the baby's paternity. The woman said, following another argument Tuesday morning, the suspect pushed her then snatched the infant from her arms and ran out of the door.
The suspect is described as a black male, 33 years old, 5 foot 8, approximately 220 pounds. He is wearing a brown jacket.
