Police in the 79th Precinct of Bed-Stuy are on the hunt for the person(s) responsible for the fatal shooting of a man on Herkimer Street Tuesday evening in Bed-Stuy.
According to reports, police received a call of shots fired around 4:00pm outside of 843 Herkimer street, a residential house located next to a nursing home.
After arriving on the scene, police found a man lying unconscious outside on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound just below his collar bone on the right side.
The victim was taken to Interfaith Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
There are no arrests, and the investigation is ongoing.
