Permits Filed for Camba Ventures Development on Broadway and Hart

Plans in place to turn a Bushwick lot into a a nine-story mixed-use "affordable" residence.

Housing non-profit organization CAMBA Housing Ventures filed permits for a lot located on Hart St. and Broadway Ave that they plan to turn into a a nine-story mixed-use "affordable" and "inclusionary" housing/ residential building.

The lot, whose official address is 435 Hart Street, is three blocks east of the Myrtle Avenue subway station, serviced by the J, M, and Z trains, on the border of Bushwick and Bedford-Stuyvesant, according to the plans.

An estimated completion date has not been announced yet, but the proposed 94-foot-tall development will have 57 tiny residences that average 289 square feet, with 20,302 square feet designated for community facility space and 16,465 square feet for residential space.

Rents for the apartments is estimated to start at around $2,199/mo, which has decreased by $272/mo in the last 30 days, according to the rental site, Zillow.

The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and five enclosed parking spaces.
