Easter Sunday is April 21 this year,  just a hop, skip and a jump away.

We have compiled a list of family-friendly egg-stravaganzas happening in Central and East Brooklyn. Hop to it, and have your baskets ready — there will be plenty of eggs to hunt!

Herbert Von King Park Easter Egg Hunt

Hop over to the Bed-Stuy park for a festive Easter egg hunt hosted by Legacy Brooklyn! The event is free, but you'll need to RSVP. Show up bright-eyed and bushy-tailed — the event will happen rain or shine.

First Quincy Street Community Garden Egg Hunt

First Quincy Street Community Garden hosts this free community Easter Egg Hunt. Families are asked to bring ten plastic eggs filled with goodies (nut-free) per child that is participating. Volunteers will be in the garden at 12:30pm to start hiding the eggs.

Evergreens Cemetery Community Easter

Join Evergreens Cemetery for their free annual egg-stravaganza inlcuding an egg hunt, a visit from the Easter Bunny, a magic show and a petting zoo on the cemetery's beautiful grounds. Egg hunts will take place at 2:30pm and 3:00pm -- don't forget your baskets!

Join Swerve Church for a fun-filled afternoon at Irving Square Park. There will be music, snacks, fun and games, face painting and of course...candy! This is a free event and fun for the whole family!

Third Annual Fort Greene Easter Egg Hunt

The third annual Easter Egg Hunt, hosted by Councilmember Laurie Cumbo, Assemblymember Walter Mosley, State Senator Velmanette Montgomery and Congressman Hakeem Jeffries, kicks off at 11:00am. The family fun also brings story times, arts and crafts, games, face painting and more kid-approved activities to Fort Greene Park. Bring your baskets—the egg hunt starts at 11:30am.

When: Saturday, April 13, 2018 from 11:00am- 2:00pm | Rain date is April 20!

Easter Egg Hunt at the Wyckoff Farmhouse Museum

Join neighbors and friends from East Flatbush Village and the office of Public Advocate Jumaane Williams for a free Community Easter Egg Hunt at the Wyckoff Farmhouse Museum.

Hunt for Easter eggs, get your face painted, meet the Easter Bunny, enjoy refreshments, music, games, resources and more. Note: Pre-registration online required.

Champion Elevator Corp. Easter Egg Hunt

Meet by the Picnic House in Prospect Park for an afternoon of springtime Easter fun. Champion Elevator's second Easter egg hunt will kick off with games, face painting and a BBQ at noon. The challenge kicks off at 2:00pm, when kids compete in the Easter Egg hunt and try to score fun giveaways. Extra funds raised will be donated to the Brooklyn soup kitchen, CHiPS. RSVP is required.
