The affordable housing lottery for a new Cypress Hills building has launched on NYC Housing Connect.
The Euclid Glenmore complex, at 437 Euclid Avenue, will have 53 units available, ranging from one-bedroom to three-bedroom apartments. Rent for a one-bedroom unit start at $617, while a two-bedroom unit start at $1,046 and three-bedrooms at $1,197. The lottery units are available to households with incomes at or below 60% of area media income (AMI).
The building is part of the city's Supportive Housing Loan Program and supportive services will be available to those who get placed in the building through city referral agencies. Sixty percent of the units are set aside for low income and formerly homeless individuals and families with special needs, while the remaining 40% of the units will be available through the housing lottery.
Applications are due April 16.
