Artisan Indie, a craft commerce community and marketplace for makers, crafters and artisans, is bringing its annual Flourish Fusion Business Conference this weekend to BKLYN Commons in Bedford Stuyvesant.

During the two-day craft commerce conference, taking place on Saturday, June 22 and Sunday, June 23, industry experts will lead attendees in business workshops, presentations and small group sessions to outline the steps artisans can take to turn their craft into a full-fledged business.

"Our community is all about growing in an empowering environment where we don't compete with each other but instead, offer support and guidance," says Artisan Indie CEO Sarah Sewell. "Our focus is on selfless networking and teaching because we understand the principle of celebrating and supporting others in their success, and in doing so we all grow."

In a variety of presentations and workshops, participants will learn how to use design to sell their craft, and how they can successfully place their products on online shopping platforms like Amazon and Shopify.  Each workshop will be followed by "A Master Mind Break Out Session" that will provide participants with opportunities to craft, practice and perfect their elevator pitches and personal selling methods.

"During Fusion, you will find yourself mingling with our advisors and instructors daily, and you will be able to converse freely with creatives, entrepreneurs and speakers you have admired from afar," said Sewell. "The variety of our presentations introduces our attendees to new skills and techniques. You will leave feeling not only empowered but equipped with the knowledge needed to make your business a success."

Makers and creators who would like to attend the conference can book an all-weekend package for $325 or opt to just attend one of the days for $95 - $250. And for those who cannot attend the conference in person Artisan Indie will also offer online sessions accompanying the conference.
