Tax day is just 10 days away, but if you haven't got around to filing your papers just yet, don't stress — a number of free services in Brooklyn are here to help.

In general, most free tax preparation services are available for single New Yorkers who earned less than $59,000 to $65,000, and families who earned less than $85,000 annually. But this varies depending on which service you are signing up for, so make sure you look at the income requirements and document checklist for each program.
