The Bedford-Stuyvesant Family Health Center, located at 1456 Fulton Street, has made key some changes to its upper-level management.
The center announced on Monday the hiring of four new exectuve staff members: Craig E. Pogue as the chief operating officer; Louis Giammarino, the marketing director; Alberto Fernandez, director of Human Resources; and Jack Murray is the new grants manager.
Mr. Pogue brings 28 years of healthcare experience to BSFHC. He previously worked at the Brownsville Community Development Corporation where he was responsible for the day-to-day operations, including Facilities, Security, Patient Services, and Health Information.
Mr. Giammarino joins BSFHC with over 24 years of marketing experience including: Stevens-Knox and Associates, ESPN SportsTicker, Hugo Dunhill Mailing Lists and most recently at Mazzone Marketing Group. He will be responsible for all the advertising and marketing efforts.
Mr. Fernandez comes to BSFHC with 26 years of experience in Human Resources Management. He previously worked as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner for Energy Source Solutions, LLC where he was instrumental in the training and development on team learning and employee engagement.
Mr. Murray brings more than 20 years of experience in grants procurement and management, including the Children's Home Society of New Jersey and the National Urban League, and most recently as Director of Grants for the national Latino Commission on AIDS.
