Although in the past 28-day cycle is up by 5 percent, it has trended downward for all incidents year to date, with 183 overall incidents since the beginning of the year, compared with 194 during this same time in 2013.

For the month, the greatest percentage increase in reported crime incidents is seen in grand larceny auto (car thefts)— a 100 percent increase—with 4 incidents reported so far in the past 28-day cycle at the 88th Pct, versus two incidents reported during this same time last year.
Year to date, there's been a 28 percent decrease in felony assaults, with 31 reported incidents in the 88th Pct., versus 43 by this same time in 2013.
