Where Brooklyn Gets Boo-tiful This Halloween

Everyone knows it's all about the community parties, where Brooklynites young and old hang outside to laugh and be merry amid ghouls and goblins.

Halloween is upon us, Brooklyn!

Sure, there's plenty of candy to be had on Friday, Oct. 31 when kids walk around their neighborhoods to go trick-or-treating. But everyone knows it's all about the community parties, where Brooklynites young and old hang outside to laugh and be merry amid ghouls and goblins.

This year, some city Open Streets programs will participate in Trick-or-Streets, a festival with live music and performances, interactive shows and workshops, harvest- and Halloween-themed activities, seasonal arts and crafts, and festive photo ops.

So get out your glue guns! There's plenty of places to show off your most creative costume.
