As the FIFA World Cup heads deeper into the knockout stage, fans from across the globe have flocked to Brooklyn to watch the matches and celebrate their national pride.

Some are attending games with friends at bars, while others are heading to larger, organized watch parties, including on Franklin Avenue in Crown Heights and the Brooklyn waterfront.

The enthusiasm for the games are unparalleled, as immigrant communities band together to root for their home counties or fans simply rooting for the underdog to keep going further.
