Glide Under the Brooklyn Bridge: Roebling Rink Returns For a New Season of Winter Fun

Brooklyn Bridge Park’s Roebling Rink is back for its second season, inviting New Yorkers to lace up and glide beneath one of the city’s most iconic landmarks. Opening Nov. 24, the seasonal pop-up rink offers daily skating through Feb. 1 with unbeatable skyline views and family-friendly pricing.

At $16 per skater for a 60-minute session, Roebling Rink remains one of the most affordable ice rinks in New York City. Rentals are $8 for skates and $5 for skate buddies or helmets, with all taxes and fees included. Local residents can also take advantage of limited free walk-up tickets during select sessions by showing a valid NYC ID.

Public skating hours run from 2:00pm to 9:00pm from Mondays through Thursdays, 12:30pm to 10:00pm Fridays and 10:00am to 10:00pm on weekends. Visitors can book online and arrive anytime within their two-hour window for an hour on the ice.

New this season, Roebling Rink is introducing private Friday morning sessions for school and extracurricular groups. Lessons with Fireworks Skating Academy pros are also available for beginners or anyone looking to sharpen their skills.

Surrounded by park concessions and nearby restaurants, the rink offers a cozy winter outing complete with socks, gloves and scarves available for purchase.

Located at Emily Warren Roebling Plaza in Brooklyn Bridge Park, the rink is easily reached via the F train to York Street, A/C to High Street, 2/3 to Clark Street, the NYC Ferry’s DUMBO stop, or the B25 bus.
