Frozen pizzas from Di Fara, the iconic Brooklyn pizza joint, has hit the grocery isles.
The $9.99 pizza can be found in nine grocery stores, including at select ShopRite, Target, Pathmark, Lidl and Foodtown locations.
"We never imagined we’d be available all over the country after opening our doors on Ave J over sixty years ago," the company said on April 1 on Instagram.
The late Domenico "Dom" DeMarco opened the famed pizza restaurant at 1424 Avenue J in Midwood in 1965. The restaurant evolved into a legendary Brooklyn institution, where many national and local food critics have deemed a Di Fara's slice the best of the best.
The company teamed up with New Jersey-based BossBites to launch a grocery store line.
