Widow Jane Distillery, Brooklyn’s award-winning whiskey maker, is turning thirteen and it’s celebrating in true Red Hook fashion.
On Thursday, Oct. 16, the distillery will transform its Conover Street home into a maze of whiskey, music, food and superstition for its 13th Anniversary Party.
Guests can expect an evening steeped in luck and legend, with Widow Jane’s acclaimed Lucky Thirteen Bourbon at the heart of the celebration.
“This party isn’t just about marking thirteen years, it’s about celebrating the magic, mystery and community that make Widow Jane what it is,” said Widow Jane Vice President Michele Clark.
Founded in Red Hook, Widow Jane has earned international recognition for its small-batch bourbons and ryes, crafted with limestone-rich water sourced from the historic Widow Jane Mine in Rosendale, N.Y., the same mine that supplied cement for the Brooklyn Bridge and Empire State Building.
From 6:00pm to 9:00pm, visitors can explore the distillery and taste rare Widow Jane pours paired with curated bites, scratch-off fortunes, retro coffee cocktails, drive-in snacks, a “Lucky Thirteen Lounge” offering high tea with a whiskey twist and a mythic “Warehouse Forest” unveiling The Vaults 2025 release.
Live music from the loading dock stage and a lineup of exclusive surprises, including limited Lucky Thirteen minis and a grand-prize scratch-off to round out the night.
Tickets include specialty cocktails, whiskey tastings, local food favorites, first pours of The Vaults 2025, exclusive merchandise and live performances. Attendees must be 21 or older.
