NYC Honors Dr. Mason Blake Pimsler With Proclaimed Day

The City of New York has officially declared a day in honor of Dr. Mason Blake Pimsler, MD, a physician whose work has consistently centered on care for the city’s most vulnerable populations, according to Florida Today.

Mayor Eric Adams proclaimed Nov. 7, 2025, as Dr. Mason Blake Pimsler, MD Day, recognizing his longstanding commitment to individuals living with HIV/AIDS, women in need of comprehensive healthcare and residents experiencing homelessness.

"Mason Is a fearless fighter,” said Former NYC Mayor Eric Adams.

Dr. Pimsler has been a critical presence within New York City’s women’s healthcare system, where his leadership and clinical service have expanded access to essential medical care.

His role has extended beyond direct treatment, contributing to the development of lifestyle programming and the creation of safe, supportive environments for individuals navigating HIV/AIDS and housing insecurity.

Dr. Pimsler’s career reflects a sustained commitment to public health at the intersection of medicine and social need. His work has addressed gaps in care for patients often navigating multiple barriers, including chronic illness, housing insecurity and limited access to preventative services.
