New Women's Healthcare Hub to Open in South Brooklyn

Women and children will be able to access a wide range of healthcare services under one roof, reducing the need to travel between multiple locations for care.

Maimonides Health will open its new Adult and Pediatric Care – 7th Avenue facility with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Monday, Aug. 10, expanding access to women's, family and primary health care in south Brooklyn.

Designed to make care more convenient for families, the center allows mothers and children to receive services in one location. The center was developed after conversations with community partners and patients identified a need for expanded women's health services in the neighborhood.

Located at 6323 Seventh Ave., the outpatient center offers adult primary care, OB-GYN, urology, endocrinology and neurology services alongside pediatric primary care.

The opening ceremony begins at 11:00am and is expected to include NYC Public Advocate Jumaane Williams, state Assemblymember Lester Chang, patients and Maimonides Health clinical leaders and staff.

By bringing multiple specialties together under one roof, Maimonides Health aims to make it easier for families to access coordinated care close to home while reducing the need to travel between multiple locations for appointments.

The Women's Health Hub includes services tailored to women at every stage of life and features family-friendly amenities such as a dedicated playroom and lactation room.

Patients who require additional treatment also benefit from the facility's location, just a two-minute walk from the Maimonides Breast Cancer Center.

Physicians at the site provide care in English, Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, Russian, Ukrainian, Armenian and Sinhala, helping improve access for Brooklyn's diverse communities through culturally responsive care.

Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the facility will begin welcoming patients seeking adult, pediatric and specialty care.
