The event takes place Saturday, Sept. 27, from 12:00pm to 6:00pm at Flatbush Central – The Outside Plaza, 2123 Caton Ave.

Themed “Rooted in Culture, Rising in Health,” the event celebrates Brooklyn’s diversity while offering residents free access to health resources, fitness activities and cultural experiences.

What’s happening:

  • Free Health Screenings – BMI, blood pressure and vitals.

  • Pilates Sessions – two 30-minute classes (bring your own mat).

  • Panel on Cultural Healing & Empowerment – community perspectives on weight loss and personal transformation.

  • Patient Stories – inspiring journeys from local residents.

  • Food, Music & Movement – featuring The Fit In and local partners.

Community partners, including The Fit In and CaribBeing are helping create a program that blends wellness with celebration, making it a space where health meets culture.
