Brooklyn-Queens Health Center Wins National Award for Quality Care

The Joseph P. Addabbo Family Health Center has earned the 2025 Community Health Quality Recognition Badge from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Health Resources and Services Administration. 

The national award highlights health centers that excel in quality improvement, patient-centered care and advancing health equity.

With nearly 60 years of service, the Red Hook and Queens-based health center continues to provide coordinated and compassionate care to its communities. 

“We are honored to serve as a trusted resource for our community, advancing health outcomes and improving quality of life,” said CEO Renee Hastick-Motes. “This recognition is a testament to the dedication of our providers and staff, who work tirelessly to ensure every patient receives high-quality, comprehensive care regardless of background or ability to pay.”

Joseph P. Addabbo Family Health Center offers primary care, pediatrics, women’s health, behavioral health, dental and specialty services, along with social support programs. 

Its mission is to make healthcare accessible to every patient, while improving health outcomes and quality of life.
