The Park Slope location of Barnes & Noble will close in July for several weeks for renovations.
The bookstore on 7th Avenue will close on Thursday, July 3 and the work is expected to take a little over three months to complete, with the plan to reopen in October, the company announced through social media.
"We are very pleased to announce that we are to completely renovate our Park Slope bookstore. The store first opened in 1997 and we are a little overdue for a refresh!" the post read.
The bookseller encouraged customers to visit the Atlantic Avenue location, at 194 Atlantic Ave., instead.
The 7th Avenue location was one of the three Barnes & Noble locations to unionize in the nation in March.
