Kings Plaza in Mill Basin is adding new retailers and entertainment offerings as part of an ongoing update to its tenant mix, reinforcing its role as Brooklyn’s only enclosed super-regional shopping center.
A series of openings and events has taken place this spring. Coach opened a new store on April 3, while Arcadia opened on May 2 as a new entertainment venue offering arcade games, promotional giveaways and discounted play packages.
Foot Locker reopened its redesigned store on May 3 with a promotional event that included a live DJ, appearances from social media creators and promotional items with purchase. PacSun opened on April 13 with a focus on apparel and accessories, while Digiso opened on May 1, expanding beauty and skincare retail options at the center.
“With each new addition, Kings Plaza continues to attract brands expanding their presence in the Brooklyn market,” said Lee Ra Johnson, assistant vice president of leasing at Macerich. “These openings reflect ongoing investment in the property and its tenant mix.”
Kings Plaza serves a primarily local customer base and continues to report steady performance across its retailers, including Macy’s, which operates as an anchor tenant. The mall includes retailers such as Primark, Zara, Sephora, American Eagle and Target. The center is accessible via multiple MTA bus routes, including the B2, B41, B46, B47 and B9.
