Marie's, a new addition to the Bushwick culinary scene, celebrated their grand opening on March 29.

Spearheaded by chef Miguel Trinidad and restaurateur Brandon Boccellari, Marie's will feature hand-made pasta, NYC-inspired flavors, and a vibrant Italian spirits beverage program, according to a news release.

Chef Miguel, who lives and works in Bushwick, is committed to sustainability and fresh ingredients. The restaurant sources from local vendors and will cultivate its own produce onsite. Besides showing its love to the community through food, Marie’s will connect with the neighborhood with pasta-making classes and wine tastings.

“I believe that food is not just sustenance; it's a living art that evolves with each dish,” said Trinidad. “As a native New Yorker, born in a NYC taxi cab, my upbringing in this city fuels my passion for culinary innovation. At Marie's, I present my heartfelt ode to Bushwick, infusing playful interpretations of iconic New York classics, such as our Chopped Cheese Raviolo and Lamb Patty White Ragù — a contemporary homage to the cultural heritage of our beloved city.”

Chef Miguel has over 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry as an executive chef at renowned establishments such as Lola, Maharlika, and Jeepney. His culinary prowess has earned him numerous accolades, including Best New Restaurant for Maharlika and Best Burger for Jeepney. Chef Miguel has received recognition from The New York Times, Michelin Guide, and James Beard and appeared on the Cooking Channel, Food Network, NBC, Fox, ABC, and GMA Network.
