Jay-Z Brings '4:44 Tour' to Barclays Center

Jay-Z will perform two shows at the Barclays Center, tickets go on sale Friday

Despite the announcement of his early retirement back in 2003, did Jay-Z actually ever leave? Well, he is is back and going on tour for the first time in four years! The news broke on Monday, just 10 days after the hip-hop mogul surprised the music world with the release of his 13th studio album "4:44".

In support of his newest album, the Bed Stuy native will go on an extensive North America tour, performing 31 concerts and making two stops at the Barclays Center on November 26, and November 27.

The "4:44 Tour" will kick off in Anaheim on October 27, and conclude with a final show in Los Angeles on December 21. Prior to the tour, Jay-Z will perform at multiple festivals around the country, including the "Austin City Limits", the "Made In America Festival" in Philadelphia and the "Meadows Festival" in Queens.

TIDAL members as well as Citi card members have been able to purchase presale tickets for the "4:44 Tour" since Monday. General tickets go on sale on Friday, July 14, at 10:00am. Tickets can be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com, the venue's websites, www.barclayscenter.com and www.nycblive.com, or by calling 800-745-3000. Tickets can also be purchased in person at the American Express Box Office at the Barclays Center starting at noon on Saturday, July 15.
