The fifth annual Fun & Dumb Improv Festival will return to East Williamsburg from July 9-12, bringing four days of live performances, workshops and special events to the neighborhood.

The festival, organized by the Brooklyn Comedy Collective, has grown into one of the world's largest improv gatherings and is expected to feature more than 200 shows, more than 800 performers and more than 2,000 attendees.

The festival will take place across the Brooklyn Comedy Collective's three East Williamsburg stages and will showcase long-form improv, musical improv, experimental comedy, late-night performances and educational workshops.

This year's lineup includes Chris Gethard and Trumane Alston, Adam Pally and Anthony Atamaniuk, Susan Messing and John Lehr, Connor Ratliff, writers from The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and improv groups including Baby Wants Candy, ASSSSCAT, Asian AF, Northcoast, Ladies Who Ranch, The Duchess, Sandwich Purse and Frat Boyz.

The annual event continues to reinforce Brooklyn's role as a destination for live comedy by bringing together established performers and emerging talent from across the United States and abroad. Since launching in 2022, Fun & Dumb has attracted comedians from New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Austin, Toronto and Berlin, creating opportunities for collaboration while contributing to East Williamsburg's growing arts and entertainment scene.

Beyond its performance lineup, the festival will offer 16 workshops led by veteran improvisers and instructors, giving comedians of all experience levels opportunities to develop their skills and connect with artists from around the world. Festivalgoers can also participate in special activities, including custom screen-printing, throughout the weekend.

Single-day passes cost $30, while four-day festival passes are available for $60. Workshops range from $35 to $60 each. The full performance schedule, workshop lineup and registration information are available through the Brooklyn Comedy Collective before the festival opens July 9.
