Brooklyn Bridge Park announced the return of its popular summer film series, Pluto TV Movies With A View, celebrating its 25th season with a slate of films centered on women in Hollywood.

The free outdoor screenings will take place Thursday evenings from July 10 through August 28 on the Harbor View Lawn at Pier 1. The lawn opens at 6:00pm, on a first come, first served basis, with films starting at sunset.

Since its debut in 2000, Movies With A View has welcomed more than half a million moviegoers, establishing itself as a summer tradition in New York City. The event invites residents and visitors alike to experience the waterfront through a mix of culture, community and cinema.

This year’s theme, “Women in Hollywood,” pays tribute to trailblazing filmmakers and performers, with a particular focus on talent from Brooklyn and New York City. The season follows a recent spotlight conversation with actors Keri Russell and Amy Schumer, both featured in this year’s lineup, on the evolving role of women in entertainment. The conversation headlined the park’s 2025 Women’s Lunch in support of its year-round programming.

“This year’s ‘Women in Hollywood’ lineup not only celebrates the power of film, but also the incredible contributions women are making in the industry—including powerhouse artists from right here in Brooklyn. We’re thrilled to honor that legacy with another summer of community, culture, and cinema under the stars,” said Eric Landau, President of Brooklyn Bridge Park.

Attendees are encouraged to bring picnic blankets or purchase one on site. Chairs, dogs, glass bottles, and outside alcohol are not allowed. Concessions, including snacks, water, and alcoholic beverages for guests 21 and older, will be available at the on-site Fornino bar.
