The Creole Food Festival is returning for its seventh year, this time bringing its flavors and culture to Brooklyn in partnership with Time Out Market New York.

“We are thrilled to celebrate seven years of highlighting the global reach and richness of Creole cuisine and culture,” said Fabrice Armand, Co-Founder of the Creole Food Festival. “This move to Brooklyn allows us to grow our footprint, welcome more guests, and introduce exciting new elements that elevate the entire festival experience.”

The festival’s signature Grand Tasting takes place on September 27 beneath the Brooklyn Bridge, where top Creole chefs of color from across the globe will showcase dishes from the Caribbean, South America, Africa, Latin America, and the Southern United States. Guests can look forward to an immersive culinary experience that highlights the breadth of Creole cuisine and the chefs who are shaping its future.

This year also introduces a new free general admission model, giving visitors complimentary access to the plaza area, with the option to purchase tasting tickets in advance or on-site. Alongside food tastings, the festival will include cooking demonstrations, live music, educational panels and food competitions.

Since its founding in 2018 by Fabrice J. Armand and Elkhair Balla, the Creole Food Festival has grown into the nation’s only food festival dedicated exclusively to Creole cuisine and culture. Over the years, it has become a hub for food lovers, bringing together acclaimed chefs, restaurants and beverage brands from across the Creole diaspora.

The move to Brooklyn marks an important step for the festival, expanding its reach while continuing its mission to spotlight award-winning chefs of color and create awareness about global food traditions.
