The Haiti Cultural Exchange's last exhibit at 558 St Johns Pl. is "Je louvri jenès la wè / With Open Eyes the Youth See," a visual and storytelling exhibition that spotlights the perspectives, hopes and lived experiences of Haitian youth in Brooklyn.

The Haiti Cultural Exchange opened a new exhibition, Je louvri jenès la wè / With Open Eyes the Youth See, a visual and storytelling showcase that centers the experiences and perspectives of Haitian youth.

Part of the group's Vizyon Atistik program, the exhibition brings together artwork and photography by emerging Haitian artists based in Brooklyn. Through bold visuals and reflective storytelling, the works explore themes of identity, heritage, and vision, offering a glimpse into the hopes and challenges shaping a rising generation.

The initiative is designed to foster intergenerational connection and celebrate cultural legacy through creative expression.

The exhibition is free and runs through July 6 at 558 St Johns Pl. It is HCX's last show in the space as gallery host FiveMyles closes on July 31. The closing party for both institutions will be on July 21 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.
