The Brooklyn Academy of Music announced an expansive Winter/Spring 2026 season filled with groundbreaking performances across dance, theater, music, film and family programming.
The season marks the start of an ambitious multi-year partnership between BAM and the National Theatre of Great Britain, an international collaboration focused on shared artistry, education and cultural exchange. The partnership will bring National Theatre productions to BAM stages and launch a joint education program offering residencies, masterclasses, school performances and talks across New York City.
Audiences can look forward to theatrical milestones including the National Theatre’s Hamlet, Robert Wilson’s epic Moby Dick and Dear Everything, a new climate-change musical by V (formerly Eve Ensler) featuring Jane Fonda.
The lineup also includes standout dance engagements from Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Trisha Brown Dance Company, Ballet national de Marseille and the annual DanceAfrica celebration.
"BAM's Winter/Spring season is devoted to big stories, big productions, and big collaborations where the courage and curiosity of our artists match the adventurousness of our audiences at any age," says BAM's Artistic Director Amy Cassello.
Music lovers will find everything from Natalia Lafourcade’s rescheduled performance to a powerful Stevie Wonder tribute, Stevie: A Life in the Key of Songs, performed by the BRC Orchestra. Returning BAM favorites such as Word. Sound. Power., Everybooty, BAM Free Music and BAMkids Film Festival will once again bring the community together through art and performance.
At BAM Rose Cinemas, audiences can expect a refreshed film experience with expanded screenings at the new BAM Karen B. Hinds (KBH) location in the L10 Arts and Culture Center.
The Winter/Spring 2026 calendar includes community favorites like the 40th Annual Brooklyn Tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., presented with Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso and BAMkids Celebrate MLK Day, which centers themes of resilience plus empowerment.
Tickets for BAM members and patrons went on sale on Oct. 9 and to the general public on Oct. 30.
