The Billie Holiday Theatre announced a special addition to its new programming for its Anniversary season: the launch event for Emmy Award-winning actress Sheryl Lee Ralph’s new book, DIVA 2.0: 12 Life Lessons From Me For You.
The book is set for release on March 14. The event will be held on Saturday, March 18 at The Billie in two sessions: 3:00pm and 4:30pm. The last of the two sessions will be followed by a reception in The Billie’s lobby.
Emmy & Critics Choice Award winning actor, director, author, singer and philanthropist Sheryl Lee Ralph has graced both the big and small screens and has left an indelible mark on Broadway.
Ralph burst onto the world stage in her role as Deena Jones in the groundbreaking Broadway Musical hit, Dreamgirls, returning later in Thoroughly Modern Millie, and then made Broadway history as the first Black artist to play Madame Morrible in the Broadway musical, Wicked.
