Housing Lottery Launches For 596 Metropolitan Avenue In Williamsburg

At 130% of the AMI, there are four one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $3,059 for incomes ranging from $104,880 to $156,130.

The affordable housing lottery has launched for 596 Metropolitan Avenue, a six-story residential building in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Designed by Peter Pizzimenti and developed by Joel Schwartz, the structure yields 12 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are four units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $104,880 to $156,130.

Amenities include a shared laundry room, common area Wi-Fi, elevator, and a rooftop terrace. Units come equipped with dishwashers, energy-efficient appliances, name-brand kitchen countertops and finishes, and intercoms. Tenants are responsible for electricity.
