On Sunday December 2nd, come join us to kick off the Hanukkah celebrations with a special concert presented and hosted by MusicTalks, an organization that breaks down the barriers between musicians and audience. Host Elad Kabilio/MusicTalks, Yiddish theatre star Daniella Rabbani, Israeli soloist Inbar Goldmann, and the Israeli ensemble, 12th Night Klezmer revel in international songs and stories inspired by the Festival of Lights, from Klezmer and Ladino to classical opera and jazz.
Daniella Rabbani has traveled the world with The National Yiddish Theatre, performing alongside the likes of Mandy Patinkin, Ron Rifkin, and Tovah Feldshuh. Inbar Goldmann, an Israeli Mezzo Soprano with a full, rich amber tone, has performed at numerous international festivals and has received awards from IVAI Tel Aviv, AICF, and The Ronen Foundation. 12th Night Klezmer seeks to reclaim the authentic Klezmer rhythm and colors from its original Eastern European sources and to bring back the unique expression of joy and sorrow that made Klezmer music so approachable. The group is an all-Israeli ensemble, trained at the world’s leading conservatories and featured in festivals worldwide.
