On Monday, Brooklyn Academy of Music hosted its Annual Tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at the Howard Gilman Opera House.

Now in its 31st year, the celebration brought together the Brooklyn community to hear speeches and performances by civic leaders, civil rights activists and entertainers in commemoration of the life and legacy of Dr. King.
