Back to School

Pratt Area Community Council currently is hosting a back to school drive.

The back to school drive is for the families in the Bedford Stuyvesant, Crown Heights, Clinton Hill and Fort Green Area. The goal is to be able to 100 children between the ages of five and 17 with a book bag filled with some of the supplies they need to get a good start in the school year.

Some of the supplies needed are book bags, pencils, pens, notebooks, binders, loose leaf paper, crayons, markers, scissors, glue, stapler, tape, calculator just to name a few. PACC is calling on community leaders to help ensure the area’s children have the tools they need to be successful this school year.

Any supplies you are able to donate can be brought to 1124 Fulton Street (Between Franklin and Classon Avenue) Monday through Thursday 9:00 AM -5:00 PM and Fridays 9:00am -1:00pm.

Back to School Supply Giveaway
Parents: Is your school age child in need of school supplies? Bring your school aged children to enjoy an afternoon of food, fun and school supply giveaways on Friday, September 12, from 12:00pm to 3:00pm. The event will be held at our community space located at 226 Lefferts Place (Ground Level) and Franklin Avenue in Brooklyn, NY.
