Normally, being judgmental is not cool, like inviting Pope Francis to a twerkathon, but the Judgement Of Brooklyn 2015, on Sunday, October 4th,  is your opportunity to taste the best of wine and beer, from across the land, decide your personal favorites, and do it at the stunning Wythe Hotel, in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

It’s your chance to be judgmental, without a guilty conscience, and do it with a fine wine or craft beer in your hand.

You might remember the first Judgement of Brooklyn 2014, that was held at the clock building, aka, 1 Hanson Place, in downtown Brooklyn, where nearly one thousand people, from cicerons to celebrities, imbibed the smartly curated selection of beers and wines and declared a vino and hops champ.

Presented by Keg & Cork and in partnership with VON and God’s Love We Deliver, the legacy non-profit fighting hunger since 1985, Judgment Of Brooklyn 2015 will feature both a day and night session and both sessions will have libations paired with the culinary artistry of Reynards-NYC. Sponsors for the event include Bottle Bracket, an interactive wine club and Uber, the ride on demand service that’s offering discounted rides, after the event, up to twenty five dollars.

James “Beeracolyte” Tai, a certified cicerone and one of NYC premiere beer aficionados, will be a guest for Judgement 2015, while other notable participants in the beer category include Strong Ale Evil Twin Molotov Cocktail and Green Flash West Coast IPA. Joining the Beeracolyte, will be Mr. Pedro Carvalho, senior executive at Aidil Wines & Spirits, along with Abe Shoner, visionary winemaker behind Red Hook Winery, who will also showcase his acclaimed “Guardian Meritage” for tasters at the Wythe.

California’s Scholium Project, is a brand that will be featured on October 4th, and will be on site tasting their premium sauvignon blanc, “The Prince in the Caves”, and providing wine selections exclusively for Judgment of Brooklyn 2015. In fact, all featured vino and beer guests will be conducting tasting seminars, with Q&A during both sessions, providing an up close and personal experience for attendees.

In total, Judgement Of Brooklyn will feature 32 participants in both the wine and beer categories, hand selected by some of NYC’s top brewmasters and sommeliers.

It’s Sunday done, in a fun day scrum, where 16 wines and 16 beers will clash, slosh, quaff, and have a champion declared by the end of the night, while the real winners will actually be the attendees, and especially so, if you grab your tickets using the discount code “Facebook”.

That code drops admission price to forty bucks, down from the normal fifty five dollars, and it even works for people who send annoying Farmville requests to their Facebook friends.
