Residents of District 35 (which includes Crown Heights, Fort Greene, Clinton Hill and parts of Brooklyn Heights): How would you spend $1 million dollars in your neighborhood?

Surely you have some ideas. Well, now is your chance to be a part of that decision process!

Beginning Wednesday, September 9, City Councilmember Laurie Cumbo will host for District 35 residents a series of meetups where residents can help decide how to spend public funds in their community through participatory budgeting. This includes things like parks, schools, libraries, streets, and more!

Join an upcoming neighborhood assembly (see three different date/location options below) to brainstorm ideas with your community! Mark your calendars!

Well given that the workshop is hosted by well known racist Laurie Cumbo I suspect the money will be spent on her own museum like she did before.
