A man who is the suspect in two robberies at gunpoint in Crown Heights was arrested at around 2:00am Sunday morning, reported 71st Pct. police.

Police have not yet released the man’s identity, but he remains a suspect in two crimes: The first, a robbery of a Jewish man on the corner of Kingston and Maple; and the second, a shooting of a 19-year-old black woman during a robbery attempt four days ago on Maple Street.

The 71 Precinct Detective Unit is investigating the incidents and comparing evidence, video, witness statements and ballistics recovered from the scenes.

Update 2/16, 11:20am: According to police, the perpetrator from Saturday’s robbery has been charged with all three crimes, including two attempted murders, three robberies, one assault in the 1st degree and criminal possession of a weapon.
