NYPD officials are searching for a man who a surveillance video filmed shooting another man inside of an elevator in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn.

According to police, the incident occurred on Tuesday, Dec. 30 at around 9:25pm.

In the video, the suspect is seen approaching the 25-year-old victim in the elevator of an apartment building on Gates Avenue, near Patchen Avenue. The suspect then pulls out a black pistol and opens fire on the man, shooting him in the torso, before fleeing.

The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital where he is listed him in stable condition.
