Central Brooklyn: Be a part of a new, sustainable way of eating and living!
Join a Community Supported Agriculture cooperative (CSA), which provides city residents direct access to high quality, fresh produce grown locally by regional farmers. When you become a member of a CSA, you’re purchasing a “share” of fresh produce from a regional farmer.
Rabbit Moon, a new local CSA, located at 334 Marcus Garvey in Bed-Stuy, needs a minimum number of sign-ups to begin its winter program.
If they are able to meet the required number of signups, the first Rabbit Moon pickup will begin as early as January 13. But the last day to sign up is Thursday, January 8, 2015!
Rabbit Moon is now offering several different juices from Red Jacket Orchards and Natalie’s Juices! Something new and exciting every week! Cheeses from Betty Acres Farms Upstate NY, Gustavo’s Salsa from Brooklyn, new maple products and more.
A 12-week signup for farm-fresh produce is only $250! That’s less than $21 a week.
Pickups are every Tuesday, from 5:00pm-7:30pm, beginning January 13th – March 31st 2015. You can pay in the store or online. Products vary week to week and will sometimes include bulk pasta, eggs, cheese, etc.
Also, please keep in mind, Rabbit Moon strives to create a well-rounded and high-quality produce bag every week. They cannot hold bags after 7:30pm day of pickup. And since they not have room to store them overnight, they want to get them to you as fresh and beautiful as possible.
Sign up today and enjoy some delicious healthy food to share with your friends and family every week!
