Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the perpetrators of two recent shootings within the confines of the 79th precinct.

The first incident occurred on Monday, November 11, at around 5:30pm. A 15-year-old boy was shot one time in the left hip across from 110 Martin Luther King Place between Marcy and Throop avenues. The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital where he was treated and is in stable condition.

The second incident occurred on Tuesday, November 12, at around 10:20pm. A 24-year-old man was shot one time in the left thigh on the Corner of Throop and Van Buren. The victim also was taken to Kings County Hospital where he was treated and is in stable condition.

No arrests have been made, and the 79th Precinct Detective Squad is investigating both incident.

Anyone with information that can lead to the arrest of the person responsible for the shooting, please call CRIME STOPPERS at 800-577-TIPS for a reward up to $2,000 for an anonymous tip that can lead to the arrest and indictment of a violent felon.
