Civil Rights Activist and MNSBC Live Host the Rev. Al Sharpton was at Restoration Plaza’s outdoor plaza on Friday for a special recording of his radio program “Keepin’ It Real,” which broadcasts nationally. In New York, the show broadcasts on WWRL-AM radio (1600), from 8:00pm – 10:00pm.

Crowds gathered in the plaza for the broadcast. Sharpton, joined by a slew of guests, including Public Advocate Tish James, City Councilmember Jumaane Williams and Restoration President and CEO Colvin Grannum, fielded questions from audience members related to a variety of issues of concern for Central Brooklynites.
