On Saturday, January 4, 2014, at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Robert E. Cornegy, Jr. was sworn in as New York City Councilmember of Brooklyn’s 36th District, covering the communities of Bed-Stuy and Crown Heights.

Ms. Morris holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration (and a minor in Spanish) from the University of Illinois and a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University.
