Every year on December 31, Prospect Park hosts one of the most spectacular fireworks/light shows in New York City– a tradition for ushering in the new year.

At midnight last night, if you looked up  from virtually anywhere in Central Brooklyn, you could see the bright lights exploding in the sky!

If you happened to be inside during this time reveling with friends and loved ones, no worries: The Reader snapped a few photos to share with you today!
