Two-Story Building Damaged by Fire in Bensonhurst

The Department of Buildings issued a vacate notice.

 

A two-story home in Bensonhurst is now completely destroyed after firefighters responded to a two-alarm fire Thursday afternoon. According to the FDNY, the call for the fire came in just after 2 p.m. at 314 Avenue P in Brooklyn between West 2nd and 3rd streets. Now, the common question from neighbors is how the fire started. "Nobody knows what's going on and I'm really scared," said local resident Natalia.
