STUDENT-LED FINANCIAL LITERACY WORKSHOP – APRIL 22, 2017 @ PS5

What:       In honor of Financial Literacy Month, the Ronald E. McNair Public School 5’s Financial Literacy Leadership team presented by Santander Bank will host its FREE Student-Led Financial Literacy Workshops. Sponsored by Brooklyn Borough President Eric L. Adams, City Councilwoman Darlene Mealy, Santander Bank, Carver Federal Savings Bank and Bridge Street Development Corporation, activities include Santander Bank “First Time Home Buyers Education Seminar”.  This free event includes valuable information on helping modest income earners realize their home financing goals.

 

For those entrepreneurs and savvy business leaders, PS5 will host a free Business Start Up Workshop. Facilitated by Lloyd Cambridge, former director of NYC Business Solution Center and Principal of Progress Playbook, the workshop will include key information on how to jump starting a small business in New York City. Supported by NYC Department of Small Business Services, attendees will also be able to pick up an abundance of resources and register for supportive classes and services.
